Meet Our Safeguarding Officers
Yvonne Hallam & John Cole (Chairman) volunteered to take on the role of Club Safeguarding Officers for Carr Lane Bowls Club in 2024.
Your Safety and wellbeing are important to us at Carr Lane Bowls Club.
If you are suffering bullying or abuse of any kind, please do not keep quiet. We can help and you can speak in confidence.
Safeguarding is about creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved, from young players to adult bowlers. It’s about taking proactive steps to prevent and address any kind of harm or abuse.
Although currently we have no under 18 players, we are hoping to become more inclusive as we develop our relationship with the Carr Lane Sports and Social Club.
Yvonne & John have undergone enhanced DBS police checks and undertaken relevant and current safeguarding training with the Bowls Development Alliance.
